Families belong together. We will never let that go.
Last September, with just a few days notice, refugee family reunion – one of the only safe routes available – was suddenly suspended.
This disproportionately harms women and children with over 92% of refugee family reunion grants given to them.
In the year that has followed, thousands of women and children have been forcibly separated, causing huge and long-lasting harm.
Join our campaign to reunite refugee families
Being safe shouldn’t mean being separated from the people you love.
If you agree, please sign our pledge to join our campaign for refugee family reunion rights.
We’ll share stories from refugee women and ways you can get involved in the campaign.
Until families can be together again, we will never let that go.
- I believe refugee families belong together.
- I stand with refugee women who are separated from their children and loved ones by borders and bureaucracy.
- I stand for the rights of families to be reunited.
You will receive an email asking you to confirm your signature. Please do, so your pledge is counted. Thank you!
Families Belong Together.
Yet the UK’s asylum system is forcing families apart, leaving women who have already survived war, persecution and unimaginable loss to face endless separation from their children, partners, and loved ones.
Mothers are being forced to break the promises they made to their children: that they would be reunited, that they would be together again.
No-one should have to endure that pain, and no Government should be purposely causing it.
Family is not a privilege. It is a lifeline. It is a right.
Keeping loved ones apart deepens trauma, undermines recovery, and denies refugee women the foundation they need to rebuild their lives in safety.
We will never accept a system that forces mothers and children to remain apart. We will keep fighting until every refugee family has the chance to be together again.
Because families belong together.
We will never let that go.
